Our photography courses will help you to take better photos by teaching you about the equipment, photographic techniques and composition. Some of the courses will also teach you to edit and enhance your pictures on a computer.

We will look at most aspects of ‘people’ photography; from the posed formal portrait to the candid ‘snapshot’; indoors and out; in natural and artificial light. In a relaxed atmosphere, we will take lots of photographs, learn techniques, pick up tips and discuss and learn from the resultant pictures.

The docks, canal basin, boats, buildings, bird life and surrounding rural landscape provide a wealth of photographic opportunities. Frank will work with you, both as a group and as individuals, to help develop your eye for a good picture and to help improve your photographic technique.
