Running at a relaxed and enjoyable pace, this is a taster of many aspects of psychology and is designed around course members’ interests - using discussion, exercises, quizzes and short talks to cover the course content. Previous groups have explored how psychology helps our understanding of personality, behaviour, children / young people’s development, ageing, conflict, personal relationships, bereavement, memory and other topics.

David Walton
David is a cognitive and clinical psychologist who recently retired from the NHS working in cancer and mental health services. He worked previously with the UN in Bosnia /Albania and as a human resources consultant with commercial, industrial and public sector organisations.
