Through attentive and alert listening to the breath you will release tension and create space in the body, inviting you to accept and allow new sensations without effort. Particular emphasis will be on preparation and the means whereby you enter a posture and learn to rest there, letting your body take the lead and discover its own discipline.

Fran FryerFran completed her teacher training with the British Wheel of Yoga in 2008 and has been teaching locally since 2009. The yoga she teaches is an eclectic mix of her own experiences of yoga practice over 15 years with a range of teachers.
Teresa HillTeresa Hill is passionate about helping people to have better health through Pilates. She started to take an interest due to a stiff low back and tight hamstring muscles. After practising Pilates these conditions improved and so did her posture.
Deyna HirstDeyna is a popular yoga teacher who has studied yoga for over 20 years and taught in the area for 12 years. She has recently studied Dru Yoga and writes about yoga philosophy. Deyna has her own website at
Bernadette RileyBernadette Riley is an experienced Yoga teacher and Alexander Technique teacher. Her expertise rests in her ability to convey the experience and subtlety of movement with relaxed attention to allay stress. She is committed to communicating the premise that preventing our usual habits in favour of resting in dynamic, fluid body use, releases us from the grip of habitual tension. Teaching aware breathing is fundamental to all her work.
